Day 25 of Raw Foods Challenge

Aloha. I send you love wherever you are. I pray that you are loving your blessed gift of life and know how special you are.
I had a lot of time to reflect today as I nursed my precious little one, who was fighting a fever. I started to think about how thankful I am that I had the strength, courage and support to go on this challenge. I have had some profound changes in me since eating 100% Raw. I have been completely off caffeine and have more energy than I did drinking it all day. Bless! I have lost weight. I have bonded with others on this journey. My skin is really clearing up, after I went through some crazy detox stuff. And, for more than 2 months I have had an extreme soreness in my pinky on the knuckle. It got really bad..now the pain is minimal and slightly there, and I know it is on its way out. Amen! It seems like I have been able to reverse the damage and heal through Live food. I am so Thankful!

Time is moving so fast. I want to slow down, breathe, and embrace every moment with love, joy and praise. Love one another.

Happy Day 4!

I pray you had a great day!
I was so blessed to spend the evening with lovely ladies who inspire me.
We gathered to have a Raw Picnic.
It is so wonderful to share this experience with others.
The conversation flowed into far away lands and shared recipes.
At one point we talked about B12.
If you are a Raw-Vegan,or Vegan, you are not getting B12.

This is an informative article I came across.

November 2- Day Two

Happy Day 2 All!

How was your Monday?

I was very excited today to be Raw. I am really trying to get back on track with my "Livet", in order to be healthy and fit.

A dear friend said she wants to "Prevent ailments", before it comes to a time when you have to work on repairing damage....I love that! That's my goal too!!!

It feels good to cleanse, and I am praying that I can keep up healthy habits when this challenge is complete.

Thank you all who are on this journey. You inspire ME!!!

Blessings and Love,
Mama T

30 Day Raw Food Challenge Nov 1

Hey Ya'll,

So happy that the numbers are climbing to join our Raw Food 30 Day Challenge!

I have shared with some who were reluctant to join, that you can set your own boundaries and limits. Instead of going 100% Raw, try 80%. Find what works the best for you and still have the goal of incorporating more and more raw foods.

Choose Organic- We are cleansing and If it's Organic "No need to Panic", we are flushing toxins.

Some have been Raw- Vegan, others will have Raw yogurt and Raw cheese. Do some research and find what it best for you. There are some great raw food vegan nut cheeses that are awesome...I will share as many recipes as I have time to share.

Lately, working as a full time Mama, I have really been slacking on my "Livet" aka Diet. I became a caffeine junky..blah!!!! Feels great initially, but the lows are horrible and keep you wanting more when you start to feel that plunge. For the past week and 1/2 I have gone cold Turkey on the caffeine. It was soooo brutal at first, but I am now feeling a little normal.

In my next Blog, I will set up menu ideas. Please share any you might have also. There is also some awesome books out there. Although I tend to get a little Gourmet with it..Doug Graham, the Author of "80 10 10", advocates a low fat Raw Livet (Diet). I have researched him, know about him, but do not have his book...but will get it.

Sprouting is super easy and fun, and it is one of the most powerful Live foods we can get.

Oh, and about Thanksgiving, as many of you mentioned, it is entirely up to how you decide to have your day. I do recommend that after you have been cleansing for such a great time, that you do not put your body into food shock with indulgences.. It will not feel so great I promise...

Thank you all for inspiring me. I am really excited and so thankful that we have each other...

Pray for a miracle...

Today we went to visit my dear friends in the hopital...My friend/Sister who is 25 weeks pregnant with twins, began to go in to pre-term labor. She has been ordered to bed rest in the hospital for 10 weeks...we are praying that the boys stay in their Mama for that length of time...We prayed together and asked for a miracle....when we left and went to our next location... We saw this...

Crash Boom Bang!

I don't know if this happened everywhere last night on the Island...But we had a crazy storm. I woke up around 4 am thinking that the wind and rain were going to blow our house down. Then I heard a loud CRASH. The neighbors Tree, a very large tree fell over on their deck. The deck is detroyed. That house is for sale, guess some repairs are in order. So, when I woke, before the crash I started praying. I prayed for protection. We are always at the mercy of Jah Mama and Jah Papa. I truly felt like a tiny speck last night in that great BIG storm. But we made it through...safe and sound..and today is a glorious sun shiny day. Thanks Jah! Thanks for keeping us in your Jah bubble of comfort and safety! Thanks for hearing my prayer! I love you family!

Blessings and Love

Today was such a great day so far.
The sun was shining and hubby was home. Baby girl woke up, seeing the sunshine and wanted to go on a family field-trip...so we headed to the beach to go Shell Hunting.
As we found treasures, caught and released crabs, saved a baby eels life, and built drip castles in the sun, I thought of Jah. I thanked him...for my family, this day, the beach, the shells, and this beautiful life we live here in the land of Aloha.
Times are serious, true...but that is why today is so precious. I never want Jah to think that I take it for granted. I do feel blessed. I do feel loved...and I love you family...where ever you are...give thanks for your blessings.

Jah Love!
